I am a first-generation out-of-state college student at Central State University, an HBCU in Ohio. Supporting my own education has always been a challenge, but I’ve worked hard to create a new family legacy by attending a four-year institution. On campus, I am serving as the king for the Beta Xi chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated , Vice President of a brotherhood/step team, and Vice President of a real estate organization. These leadership roles have allowed me to give back to my campus community and grow as a student leader.

Recently, I received an outstanding tuition balance that is now stopping me from registering for classes. I’ve applied to every loan possible, but unfortunately, all of them have been denied. This situation has left me considering the heartbreaking possibility of dropping out, even though I am determined to keep moving forward.

This past fall semester, I achieved my first-ever 4.0 GPA in college, and I don’t want to lose the momentum I’ve built toward academic success. Continuing my education means everything to me—not just for myself, but for my family and the example I hope to set. Your support will help me pay off my tuition balance, register for classes, and keep my dream alive. Anything helps, even a share would make my day.
