On August 28th, our beloved friend and family member, Malcolm, received a life-changing diagnosis: Glioblastoma, an aggressive and fast-growing brain cancer. The news came just one day after he and his wife, Heather, returned from their honeymoon — a time that should have marked a joyful beginning to their new life together.
Since then, Malcolm has bravely undergone brain surgery, which thankfully went well. But the road ahead is long, uncertain, and incredibly tough.
Malcolm will have to have several weeks/months of both Chemotherapy and Radiation.
Through it all, Heather has not left his side. As his newlywed and his rock, she has stepped into the role of full-time caregiver without hesitation — managing Malcolm’s care, helping him recover, and holding their family together. Both Malcolm and Heather have had to take time away from work, and like many families in crisis, this sudden turn has left them struggling financially.
On top of everything, Malcolm is a devoted father, including to his autistic son, who needs consistent care and support. He also has other children who are deeply affected by everything happening right now.
This GoFundMe is to help ease the financial burden — covering medical bills, living expenses, and the many unexpected costs that come with fighting cancer and caring for a family. Any amount, big or small, will go directly to helping Malcolm and Heather focus on what matters most: healing, family, and love.
If you’re unable to donate, please consider sharing this page and keeping Malcolm and his family in your thoughts and prayers.
Thank you for your support.
