Hello,

My name is Malcolm Thomas. I'm a clean-up animator for a handful of indie animation shows such as Ollie and Scoops and Monkey Wrench. I've been a lover and advocate for animation as both an art form and an industry for as long as I can remember. Sadly, the industry has changed, and many of the other projects that I have signed up on are also having problems obtaining funds of their own, leaving me and countless others in limbo until they do.

I've applied for regular jobs, but due to my very brief job history and lack of social skills, I've only gone as far as the interview phase on most of them, and they've all ended with a resounding "No." Which is why I've been dead set on getting work in the animation industry to be in an environment where I can be creative and social with other like-minded individuals.

As of now, I'm living with my parents, and for the past decade, I've been relying on Social Security to keep myself afloat, but most of it has been going to rent as well as my car note, leaving me with no money to pay off my credit card debt.

I've also been on food stamps since 2022. But with the government being the way that it is now, I'll be without any food money for "god knows how long". I don't want to rely on my parents for the rest of my life, especially when they are going through financial struggles of their own.

So I'm humbly asking for help to get myself financially stable for the next month or so. Every month my accounts are either empty or in the negatives. This state of affairs has made me mentally and physically lethargic. It's been hard to deal with this amount of stress every month.

Every dollar goes directly to paying off my credit card debt as well as providing me with financial endurance for the next month.
