Hi my name is Ashley, I’m trying to help a good friend of mines family in need. Their daughter Malayah “Lay” who is 16 years old and a student at OHS. She is about to have an invasive brain surgery for the 2nd time.

Her first surgery was in 2019. It was a very scary and stressful time for her and her family. All the time off needed for appointments and hospital stays to be with their daughter and care for her younger siblings took a toll on her family. Her mom will be taking time off work to stay with her in the hospital at UCSF. Soon after surgery she will be starting radiation treatments.

Malayah is a talented artist. She loves music! She’s been in band since 3rd grade. She’s traveled with the OHS band to several events.

She’s an excellent student.

I’m hoping we can come together and help them out during this trying time. Please keep Malayah and her family in your prayers.
