Fronted by singer/songwriters,

Kerry Kilford and Devon Francis, Malachite, is a Sheffield-based, eight piece originals band.

Charactorised by three part harmonies, a sorted rythym section, and stonking sax players, our sound has been described as an eclectic mix of funky folk rock, with hints of lounge jazz.

Over the past 3 years, we have

been gaining popularity and

increased billings at local venues and festivals, mainly, in and around Sheffield. We appeal to all ages. Every time we play, people love our sound and ask about how they can hear more?

We have just about enough funds from gigs earnings to book the expensive studio time to professionally produce an EP.

But we have more than enough

material for an album and our ultimate goal would be to produce and record one in 2026!
