My name is Jessica and I am fundraising for my dearest friend Mal Kling. Let's help Mal get something off their chest!!!
We would first like to take a moment and thank trans women of color. Because without them, this wouldn't be possible.
Mal has the privilege to get gender affirming surgery in August. As we all know Mal rarely asks for much help, but they will need financial support during this beautiful time of transition. Luckily, they do have health insurance but as well all know health insurance does not cover the entire cost of top surgery. Over the past 7 years, I have had the privilege to watch their transition first hand, it was a painful journey of self discovery and we have finally arrived!
Mal has a chosen family that has helped them emotionally and mentally through trying times of gender dysphoria and transphobia in our world, now they need our financial assistance.

A little about Mal:
Mal is currently in Graduate school for Social work at the University of Denver. They have dedicated their entire life to helping others. Mal was an adult accomplice for an LGBTQ summer camp two years in a row. They have supported high school aged trans folx of color through facilitating an after school support group. Mal has also created and facilitated trainings for educators and youth regarding gender identity and pronouns. These are just few things Mal has done for their community.
