Help Makita Walk Without Pain Again
A small act of kindness could give Makita a life without pain.
Hi everyone,
I’m reaching out to ask for help for someone who means the world to me, my dog, Makita. She’s 8 years old, and for the past year, she’s been living with hip dysplasia.
What used to be simple joys — walks, playtime, even just getting up — have become painful struggles for her.
She’s still the same loving, gentle soul she’s always been, but it’s hard watching her spirit weighed down by pain.

What We’re Raising Money For
Makita needs hip replacement surgery, which is the only real option to give her back the quality of life she deserves.
We’re currently going through the process to get her approved for the procedure. If she is approved, all funds raised will go directly toward her surgery and recovery.
• Total goal: $8,000
• First milestone: $2,000
If for any reason she isn’t approved, I will refund all donations. I want to be completely transparent with everyone who chooses to help.
⸻
Why This Matters
Makita isn’t just a pet, she’s family. She’s been there for us through so much, always with love, comfort, and loyalty. Now it’s our turn to show up for her.
This surgery would give her a second chance, to move freely, to enjoy the outdoors again, and to spend her years with us in comfort, not pain.

How You Can Help
Even the smallest donation brings us closer to giving Makita the care she needs. And if you’re not in a place to give, just sharing this page can make a huge difference.
Thank you so much for reading Makita’s story. Your support, in any form, means the world to us.
