Help MaKenzie with her Medical and travel needs

Hello, my name is Kelly and my daughter MaKenzie has recently been diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. It started with her vision bothering her and an eye doctor visit. The eye doctor was fearful that Kenzie had a brain tumor and told her to get to the emergency room as soon as she could. She lives in Tioga, North Dakota, and the closest hospital is in Minot. By the time her husband got her there, she lost full vision in one eye. She was told she had liquid on the brain and not a brain tumor, so we were thankful for that. They then advised her that she needed a spinal tap to relieve the fluid. This hospital is so small that they didn’t have the tools necessary to get the spinal done (as she needed a special needle and a radiologist to assist the needle into her spine), so her husband ended up driving her to Bismarck, North Dakota, to get it done. The trip was a few hours away, but she was getting worse and it needed to be done. This is where she got the news of her new diagnosis of MS. The hospital there pulled 15cc’s of fluid from her spine and were able to relieve some of her symptoms. Unfortunately, they sent her home a few days later and she is waiting to see a specialist.

It’s been a week since her diagnosis and she is getting worse. The fluid has returned, she is so tired she can barely stay awake, and she needs to get to a better hospital to help her. We are hoping to get her back to Bismarck to get the care she needs, but she has already exhausted most of her finances on the hotel, as they have no friends or family close by. Her husband has been by her side, with no PTO and no medical benefits as he just started working in Tioga. They had a dream of her finishing her nursing degree while he made money there. Their dream is falling apart; they need help and prayers to get her the medical attention she needs.

Her husband and children need her as she is a loving mother and wife. She is in so much pain - please help if you can.
