I will be participating as a competitor for the first time in the North American Cup Series at the USA Climbing headquarters in Salt Lake City, Utah. Then I go to Yosemite to participate in a bigwall climbing seminar with Yosemite Mountaineering School where I will learn hauling systems, setting up a portaledge and other bigwall climbing mechanics required to climb walls like the North Face of Half Dome and The Nose of El Capitan. After I will have one day of guided climbing on the route Absolutely Free 5.9 on the Five Open Books. This will be my fourth year in the Valley.
