My Story: A Baker with a Daydream
Hello! My name is Isabella Bonello, and I am the sole owner and employee of Three Bites Bakery. I have worked in kitchens for almost a decade, and it has always been my dream to open a cafe/bakery that has a positive impact on the community around me, showcases local makers and artists, and exposes people to my Italian and Filipino background, as well as other cultures.
Three Bites Bakery was established in 2019 as a side project. After losing my full time job due to the pandemic, it quickly became my main focus. Over the past year, demand for these inspired treats rapidly outgrew my home bakery set up. With your help, I can finally make my brick and mortar dream a reality.
My Vision: A Bakery for the Community, By the Community
As with any build out of a business, the cost almost always goes over budget. That’s where you all come in!
With your help, I will be able to purchase the necessary equipment to make Three Bites Bakery a fully functional operation! Any money I raise will go directly to purchasing things like ovens, coffee machines, work tables, everything I will need for a commercial bakery and cafe.
My Goal: $20,000
The bakery is slated to open the first week of June 2021! To procure my equipment in time, I am setting out to raise $20,000 by May 22. Knowing this space will be for the community and by the community keeps me going on this challenging journey, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
