The Lord has put it on my heart that it is time for a little fundraiser for the Stargels.  Chris Stargel fell ill 16 months ago and is still hospitalized.  He has been diagnosed with a most severe case of Guillain-Barre (gee-YAH-buh-RAY) Syndrome.  It is a rare disorder in which your body's immune system attacks your nerves. Weakness and tingling in your extremities are usually the first symptoms. These sensations can quickly spread, eventually paralyzing your whole body.  

Chris will need months, if not years of intense therapy and treatment to make him whole again.  But he is healing!  Praise Jesus!  His wife Erin has been a rock and a champion for him the entire time!  Through COVID and everything else, she has remained faithful to the word that God gave her all those months ago...that God "will heal him this side of heaven."  His two little girls Ella and Grace love their Daddy so much and just want him home!  

This fundraiser started out as "let's make their car payment for 3 months".  I think we should really stretch and go for 6 months!  Why not?  Erin and her family could really use a little breathing room!  I think they deserve a little pampering from this community, don't you?  So if everyone does a little, we can do a lot!  $662 dollars has already been raised from the previous jewelry fundraiser, plus cash donations.  Let's do this!  (I put in a little padding to cover the Go Fund Me Fees.)
