Hello, my name is Nathaniel Johnson I'm creating this Go Fund Me Page on behalf of our dear family friend Rochelle Elder.

In 2022 Rochelle underwent two major surgeries, one on her neck, and one on her back. After many years of constant pain, she is experiencing relief; however, she has been left wheelchair-bound. With therapy she is getting stronger but, the road to walking again is long and slow process according to her physician.

We all take for granted that we can walk into our bathroom and run the water to take a relaxing bath or shower!

The reason for this Go Fund Me is that Rochelle's home is not really wheelchair accessible. She has some access to the kitchen, living room and bedroom; however, NEITHER of her bathrooms are wheelchair accessible. This has limited her independence! Although with help Rochelle bathes every day, she cannot take a bath or shower.

She has reached out to several agencies for help to widen the bathroom doors and remove the garden tub and replace it with a wheelchair-accessible shower. It has been several months and lots of calls but no one has gotten back to her yet.

I desire is to raise enough money to hire a contractor to come to do the work.

We would greatly appreciate any help you can give. Also if you know of an agency that helps the disabled, that would come in and do the work expeditiously we would certainly be more than happy to reach out to them.
