In 2020, filmmaker Taylor Leigh Aguilar suddenly and unexpectedly lost her sight. She took a leave of absence from film school at Loyola Marymount University to attend the Colorado Center for The Blind. There she was introduced to an incredible community of blind and visually impaired folks that changed her life forever. During her experience, Taylor decided to turn her director’s lens towards her and her friends' experiences and challenges, and triumphs. She is creating a TV show proof-of-concept called The Blind Movement, a travel and transformation show that follows Taylor and her friends across the country as they meet other blind folks who want support to pursue their bucket list dreams.
