Hi everyone I’m Marnie and I’m trying to raise money for my friend Charlie who’s recently been given the heartbreaking news that she has stage 4 terminal cancer

Charlie’s journey with cancer so far has been unimaginably difficult. While she was pregnant with her youngest daughter Amyra, who is now just 1 year old, she was diagnosed with cervical cancer. After been given this news she had to have an emergency C-section meaning Amyra was born prematurely as Charlie needed to start her treatment. Instead of spending the first few months enjoying her newborn baby, Charlie had to undergo months of chemo and radiotherapy back and forth from castle hill everyday, tired, drained and in constant pain. Charlie trooped on everyday staying positive no matter what was thrown at her, then after all of this she was given the amazing news that she was cancer free

But then unfortunately months later Charlie received the devastating news that her cancer had returned and had now spread right throughout her body. She’s now been diagnosed with stage 4 terminal cancer

Doctors are hoping that treatment may give her more time they’ve said up to two years, but unfortunately nothing is guaranteed.

Charlie is only 33 and mum to four beautiful young children age 1, 3, 5 and 10. As you can imagine, this has turned hers and her families whole world upside down.

Charlies dream is to take the kids to DisneyLand while they have this precious time together. I’m trying to raise £5000 to make this happen and give them all memories that’ll last forever.

On Saturday 2nd August, we’re doing a charity day at The Bowery Pub on Princes Ave in Hull, with all the money raised going towards this❤️

Charlie has also made the brave decision to shave all of her hair off before treatment takes the choice away from her. Charlie’s going to do this on her fundraising day.

The fundraising goal is £5000 which I hope will cover the cost of making this dream come true for Charlie. If i’m lucky enough to raise more than the goal any additional money will go towards helping Charlie and her family make even more memories and towards any extra costs she might face at this awful time.
