Hi everyone, my name is Diana, and I’m currently in Year 12 at college. I’m a kind, caring person who always tries my best in everything I do. I’m raising funds to help me go on a once in a lifetime trip to New York with my college something I’ve dreamed of since I was little.

I’ve always been fascinated by New York the culture, the history, and the feeling of being somewhere so full of life and opportunity. I don’t get to travel much, so this would be an amazing experience and a huge step for me personally. It’s not just a holiday it’s a chance to learn, grow, and experience something I’ve dreamed about for years.

I also want to share a bit more about myself. I have autism and ADHD, which means I sometimes find things like social situations and new experiences challenging but it also makes me determined, creative, and passionate. I’m also an informal carer for my younger brother, who has autism too. I help support him at home, and while I love doing that, it can be tough at times and means I don’t always get chances like this trip.

This opportunity means the world to me not just to visit New York, but to take a big step forward for myself, to experience independence, and to be part of something that will stay with me forever.

The funds raised will go directly towards covering the cost of the trip (£1,650) including travel, accommodation, and educational activities. Every little bit truly helps, and I’m so grateful to anyone who supports me, even by just sharing this page.
