My mom, Eva Marie Velasquez, passed away on May 21, 2022. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She dedicated 45 years of her life to the community and children of the Mountain View School District as a Kindergarten Instructional Aide and Assessment Assistant. She enjoyed retirement and was able to fulfill a life-long dream a few years ago of visiting Graceland in Memphis, Tennessee.

Our family is fortunate enough to know my mom had most of her affairs in order. However, her last wish was to have a celebration of her life for her close friends and family separate from her memorial, which may or may not include an Elvis impersonator! Haha.

I want to honor my mom's last wish.

With full transparency, this GoFundMe page is just to help our family fulfill her last wish. It is not helping with immediate arrangements, as my mom was cognizant of taking that burden from her children and family.
