Turning 30 With the Ride of a Lifetime — Coast to Coast Motorcycle Journey

On February 21st, I turn 30 years old. I'm finally getting old, I know. This milestone has inspired me to do something meaningful, challenging, and unforgettable: a [30 day or less] coast-to-coast motorcycle journey from Key West, FL to Prudhoe Bay, AK — from the southernmost point in the United States to one of the northernmost points accessible by motorcycle. I plan to start my trip in May 2026 and end up back home in June 2026.

This isn’t just a simple motorcycle camping trip that I'm planning. It’s a personal milestone, a challenging test of endurance, and a chance to fully experience a handful of incredible landscapes that the USA, as well as Canada, has to offer. I'll be limiting myself to only camping, spending every night with a tent and some basic survival tools. No hotels/Airbnb's = no cheating myself of the experience I deserve.

I’ll be documenting the journey by filming the highlights, failures, scenic routes, and iconic destinations along the way, creating something meaningful not only for myself but for everyone who wants to follow along. This trip will not be only unicorns and rainbows. I expect to come across very questionable situations that most of you would call me crazy to put myself through. I plan to post edited compilations to YouTube and Facebook for friends and family to see, as well as myself to look back on in the future.

Preparing properly is extremely important for personal safety, reliability, and the ability to capture this experience. Funds raised will go toward:

• Safety & Riding Gear: Protective riding equipment, weather-ready clothing/motorcycle gear, and emergency health/aid kits.

• Camping Equipment: Shelter and supplies to stay self-sufficient during remote stretches of the trip. (Especially the nights I'll be spending in BC, YT, and the Dalton Highway)

• Motorcycle Preparation: Maintenance tools, spare parts, and roadside emergency kits.

• Filming Equipment: Quality camera gear to document the journey and share it with supporters, friends, family, and fellow motorcycle enthusiasts.

• Travel Expenses: Fuel, airfare to NC from Fairbanks to pick my motorcycle up, basic supplies (food ingredients, etc.), and essential costs throughout the trip.

Why this matters to me:

Turning 30 feels like the perfect moment to challenge myself and pursue something I’ve dreamed about for years. I keep telling everyone that I do not want to be old one day and regret not taking advantage of my youth and wellness. One day, I won't be able to do this. This journey represents my love for two wheels, independence, resilience, and embracing life fully no matter what happens. I want to prove to myself and others that big goals are possible with preparation, determination, and community support.
