Hi, I’m Taylor, a photographer and creative from Ohio. 

In June 2025, I started pursuing a new chapter in my photography journey: telling the stories of women and girls in sports. Since stepping into women’s sports, I’ve seen firsthand how powerful these stories are. Every athlete, every game, every behind-the-scenes moment has deepened my sense of purpose as a creator. 

 At the same time, I still work with couples and families through my wedding and portrait photography. That work helps sustain me financially, but even there, my current gear has hit its limit. Whether it’s a fast-paced basketball game or a once-in-a-lifetime wedding moment, I need equipment that can keep up with real, professional-level demands. 

Right now, I’m shooting on a $400 beginner camera that I’ve pushed far beyond its capabilities. I’ve made it work for as long as I could, even renting higher-end gear when I had to, but renting isn’t sustainable anymore. I’m missing opportunities, and I can’t keep growing with what I have. 

 That’s why this GoFundMe matters more than ever. With the Canon R6 Mark II, everything changes: 

• I can confidently take on new opportunities in both sports and weddings without worrying about renting gear. 

• I can capture emotion, energy, and storytelling at the quality level my clients and athletes deserve.

• I can continue building a sustainable career, not just chasing moments but creating a future I can depend on. 

This isn’t just about a camera. It’s about visibility, sustainability, and keeping this work alive. I don’t want to walk away from something I know I’m meant to do, but I can’t keep fighting this fight alone.
