Thank you so much to everyone for their incredible support and generosity! After evaluating the space, we realized it needed a bit more work than we initially expected. Your contributions have made it possible for my mom to have a storefront from home by obtaining a metal shed/shop. This route is more sustainable and attainable for the long term, and it will allow customers to come and see her pieces staged in the shed.

My name is Cassi, and I am reaching out on behalf of my mom, Kim, who is a passionate and talented antique enthusiast. Six years ago, she made the brave decision to leave her 9-5 job to pursue her dream of working with European antiques, particularly those from England, France, and Sweden. Her dedication to restoring and recycling these beautiful pieces is truly inspiring, and she has an incredible eye for finding and reviving unique treasures.

Despite her undeniable talent, life's demands have often pulled her in different directions, leaving her with limited time to fully dedicate herself to her passion. Always putting others before herself, my mom has made do with limited resources, using our carport for storage and conducting her restoration work in our driveway.

Recently, a wonderful opportunity has presented itself—a space for lease at the perfect location for her business. This space would allow her to work out of a shop and have a small storefront to display and sell her cherished pieces. With a monthly rent of $1,100, this space would be a dream come true for my mom and a chance for her to truly flourish in her craft.

I am turning to the GoFundMe community for support in making this dream a reality. Our goal is to raise $6,000 to cover half the first year's rent for this space, giving my mom the stability and freedom to fully immerse herself in her passion.
