Help make Jessica's home safe
Donation protected
Hi
I'm Jessica's mother. We are asking for help to redo our living room floors and to lightly renovate our bathroom to help Jessica in her home.
On July 26th, in the early morning, Jessica crashed her ATV. She suffered life threatening injuries
-Diffuse Axonal Injury to her brain
-Multiple Brain Bleeds
-Facial fractures
-Broken clavicle
-Multiple broken ribs
-Collapsed Lung
-Broken Spine leading to paraplegia
She was in a coma and on life support, but she fought to live. Everyday she is fighting. It was a miracle that she survived her injuries.
She is in a rehabilitation facility in London, Ontario learning to live her new life in a wheelchair. She has progressed by leaps and bounds, fighting to be able to come home to be with her son and family. This has been a devastating time for our family with many adjustments that have to be made for everyone. Luckily she has a great rehab team and she had wonderful nurses and doctors during her recovery.
She is expected to arrive early December.
We need help. With replacing old floors to make it safe for her wheelchair and widening a couple of doorways so she has a bit more mobility in the house. Any donation is a blessing. Thank you for reading.
