Help Make Jess's Dream Come True!

Hi my name is Jess Bula. I am 10 years old and a Grade 4 student at Glen Dhu Primary School. Last week at the State Cross Country Championships, I qualified and have now been selected as part of the Tasmanian Team to compete in the 2018 School Sports Australia Primary School Cross Country Championships that will be held on the Sunshine Coast on Friday 24 August - Monday 27 August 2018.

This is the highest level of primary school cross country competition in Australia.

With this selection comes some challenges. The competition is in Queensland, and athletes must fully fund the trip themselves. There is a very short turnaround from selection and announcement of the team to the actual event taking place. I need to raise $3200 for the cost of this trip, which includes uniform, registration, airfares and accommodation. This money will also allow my dad to come with me as a team member. 

I love running in carnivals at school or just at lunchtime. To be selected in this team and be given this amazing experience to compete against the best U11 athletes in Australia is a dream come true.

 I am hoping that you may be able to support me by making a donation towards my expenses to travel to the Sunshine Coast in Queensland.
