We are raising money for Jaxson so his mother can remodel the bathroom to make it safer and more accessible for his disability. Jaxson came into the world fighting after being born at 29 weeks, weighing just 2 pounds 2 ounces, and spending 69 days in the NICU. Since then, he has faced more than most do in a lifetime, including periventricular leukomalacia, spastic quadriplegia cerebral palsy, absence seizures, a tethered cord, a syrinx in his spine, hip subluxation, hearing sensitivity, cortical visual impairment, and a low grade infiltrating mitotically active glioma with NTRK1 fusion in his spine. Because half of the glioma remains, he must continue having MRIs every couple of months for the rest of his life to monitor growth. He has already been through 7 surgeries and over 1,000 therapies, yet he continues to amaze us with his strength and resilience every single day.
Despite everything he has endured, Jaxson is the happiest, sweetest, most loving child you could ever meet. He brightens every room with his laugh, smile, warm hugs, and kisses. He has worked so hard to accomplish things like army crawling, rolling, saying baby, momma, and go, and most recently sitting up on his own 10 times in the last 10 months. This bathroom remodel will help give Jaxson better access, make daily care easier for his mother, and support his comfort, safety, and dignity at home. We need $25,000 for the remodel, and we hope to present the funds to Jaxson's mother on September 5, 2026, to coincide with a planned fundraiser on that date. We are deeply thankful for donations of any amount, and if you are unable to give, sharing our story would mean so much to us. Any support helps Jaxson continue to thrive. Thank you for loving and supporting Jaxson.
