Help make our dream of having a family come true!

Hello beautiful people,

After two years of taking a break from IVF, Travis and I have decided to give it another try. But unfortunately the military’s insurance does not cover any of it, therefore we are asking for any help possible to make this dream come true.

Our Story, well I moved from Tennessee back to home state of South Carolina and Travis moved back to his home state South Carolina also from Massachusetts. I started going to Dorman High School and on my third or fourth day I went to Bojangles with some girls I met from school. Once we got there and sat down, I felt someone staring at me and I saw this long haired skinny kid and when I asked my friends who that was they said his name is Travis, and that day I told them I am going to marry that kid one day.

A few months, I started dated this guy and he was friends with Travis, so I got to be around him more. Travis and I instantly became best friends. We would find every excuse to be around each other. Well I finally Graduated and moved to another state and Travis and I fell apart.

Well fast forward to 2014, Travis at this time has been in the Marines for a year and I was out living my life and turning 21 that year. On my 21st birthday, Travis randomly texted me and told me Happy Birthday and told me he was coming home and wanted to get together and hang out so I agreed.

We ended up meeting at a place called Wild Wings and kissed one time and I knew that was it for me, my searching for a partner for life was over.

This is where it gets crazy! Travis wanted me to meet his grandparents. He let me know they haven’t like any girl he has brought around them and let me know his nana has no filter. So I was a little nervous to meet them, well we pull on this back round, that I have drove down several times, literally my entire life. I remember looking at Travis and saying “my mom grew up on this road, and so did my entire family.” He replied “so did my dad and his entire dad’s side of the family”.

We started pulling into his Nana and Papa’s drive way and when I tell you our family’s lived RIGHT NEXT STORE to each other, like literally right next store to each other haha.

I walked into his Nana’s house super eager to tell them that my mom grew up next store to them, his nana and aunt didn’t even let me get it out of mouth, they said “that’s DeDe’s daughter!” And from then on we have been inseparable. We love hearing story’s from his family about the crazy stuff they all did growing up with my mom, my aunt and uncle.

We got married in 2015 and moved to Hawaii and started working on trying to start a family. We tried for about a year and noticed something wasn’t right, everyone around us was the same age and having kids left and right but not us.

In 2016, we started seeing an infertility specialist, and the medications, surgeries, and doctor appointment every week started. It was exhausting but if we got to start our family it was going to be all worth it. We tried everything and started getting discouraged because at the time it has been 4 years on medications and having surgery’s that we wanted to try IVF.

The Coravirus hit in 2020 so since we were all on quarantine we thought why not try IVF, we had the money saved up and we thought it was a for sure thing. Unfortunately, it wasn’t. Two embryo transfers and our entire saving down the drain, it didn’t work for us. I was ready to completely give up. But I prayed and Prayed and God spoke to me and told me to take a break, and just enjoy the time with Travis. So we did, and now it is 2023 and we are ready to start again!

We have a date picked out to start but keeping it under wraps this time. So if anyone would be able to spare a dollar or a share to help our dreams come true, we would greatly appreciate it!

Thank you for reading our story!
