Hello all, I'm Kameryn, a teacher with OUSD at Highland Community School. The 3rd-grade team is excited to take our students on a field trip, but we need your help! While the museum we are going to is free, we will need to pay for our bus to get there.

The exploratorium is a wonderful museum where students can experiment and explore scientific wonders. It is a space that transcends language boundaries, which is very important at a school with multilingual speakers. Nothing helps to bond a class together or ensure a student feels like they belong quite the same way as a field trip.

For some students, it will be their first field trip since before the pandemic; for other students, it's their first one ever!!! Field trips make school feel very special. Will you donate or share to help us get to the Exploratorium and share this special time as a community?
