Help make ends meet for Sarah and Ian
Donation protected
Sarah has the world's worst brand new unpaid full-time job - a sick parent. She has taken it on with both hands, both feet, and her entire face, and has not been able to work since her father's health issues became emergent in mid-March. She's run out of PTO at work and has now moved into unpaid leave, so that she can continue to manage her father's care and support her mother. (Sarah's an only child, so A LOT of weight has been on her shoulders throughout this.)
To support Sarah in turn, Ian has largely been solo parenting for 3+ weeks, while working full-time.
If you are able, they would welcome your support in making financial ends meet while Sarah is away from work managing the many daily hours of labor and presence required to care for a critically ill family member. At this time, they don't know how long it will be until Sarah is able to return to work.
Funds will be used to supplement missed income, cover Bellamy's daycare (so Ian has child free hours in which to work, and so some sense of normalcy can be maintained for Bel), and replace Sarah's car which went to car heaven days after Larry's admittance to the hospital (cause life is like that). We've set a starting goal, but any funds above and beyond that will be used to offset the new car cost.
If you're not able to give but are able to share with your networks, that is also greatly appreciated. Thank you for helping keep the Grumet-Whites afloat through this terrible hardship.
