The European Land Art Festival is Scotland's best kept secret — and we're determined to change that.
For 10 years, ELAF, with no charge to the public has brought artists, musicians and communities together to create breathtaking temporary art from nothing but natural materials. No trace left behind. Just a deeper connection to the land — and to each other.
This is our 10th year. And we need your help to make it our best yet.
From 14–19 July 2026 in Dunbar, we'll be hosting five days of sand art, mandalas, rock stacking, woodland workshops and live music — completely free for everyone to attend and join in.
Your donation goes toward:
Artist travel and accommodation
Insurance, safety and site costs
Website and communications
Fair support for our volunteers and performers
We're raising £5,000. Every pound gets us closer to opening the gates in July.
If you've ever wanted to spend a day making something beautiful with your hands, in good company, by the sea — this is it. Help us make it happen, and share this with anyone who'd love it.
ELAF 2026 — Come and make something.
