Hi, my name is Christinia, David's wife, and I am creating this fundraiser to help make our home handicap accessible for David.

On June 2, 2023, David was in a serious motorcycle accident on his way home from picking up dinner. As David was going through an intersection, a minivan turned in front of him. This accident resulted in multiple fractures, a spinal cord injury, partial paralysis throughout David's body. David is unable to walk, feed himself, or get out of bed without assistance.

Currently, David is in inpatient rehabilitation at the hospital for the next several weeks and then will have many months of outpatient rehabilitation. He is expected to come home in a wheelchair and we will need to make some modifications to our house to accomodate the wheelchair and other rehabilition equipment.

We plan on using the money from this fundraiser to help build a handicap accessible bathroom, install ramps and rails, and help with household bills due to lost wages. We appreciate any contribution.
