Help Make Dance And Theater Arts a Reality!

Hello! As some of you know, my name is Mary Rotella, and I am a teacher, international director/choreographer, and former Broadway performer. I recently started a new business called Dance and Theater Arts - An adult program for body, mind, and spirit. I am fundraising for a space of our own. I have been teaching out of other studios and for many reasons, it is time to move forward. I am thrilled to say I have found the perfect place, but there is much to be done!

I know the amount is a big ask but I can assure you this is a noble cause. I truly believe participating in the arts not only brings joy, but it keeps our minds sharp, our bodies strong and our hearts open! Our students range from beginners to professionals and span the ages of 24-92.

Presently in our group classes, some folks with individual challenges have exceeded what they believed was physically possible. This is a result of an inclusive, kind, and supportive environment. As this fundraiser progresses, I will introduce you to some of these amazing people and this beautiful community of ours.

There is so much more to come in our new space. We will offer classes for the deaf and for people with Parkinson's. We will offer chair dance classes for those with balance issues that might need a bit of support. We will also have world dance offerings, master classes and workshops.

There are programs galore for children and teens. Adults also deserve a studio and program just for them, don’t you think? We may get older but who says we must stop living to our fullest potential? Who says we can’t try new things? Who says we can't still feel vibrant, youthful, and even sexy? Not me - Not Dance and Theater Arts!!

You can help this happen! Your funding will help with purchasing sprung dance floors, mirrors, and walls to create two studios. Any amount you can give will be greatly appreciated because every bit adds up! If you can personally or as a group donate $500 you can honor a loved one with a nameplate which will be placed above a mirror. Donors of $1000 or more will be listed on a plaque of Dance And Theater Arts Angels. You ALL will receive a free class of choice for any amount you give!
