Help Make Dad's Home Safer!

I know Mom & Dad wouldn't want me to do this, but they really could use the help....
As most of you know, Dad was diagnosed with Mucosal Melanoma in early February this year. It's a very rare and aggressive cancer that has no known cure and it's located inside his mouth which makes it even more difficult. So, the doctors decided to do what they could to slow it down and try to control it.
Dad has been through it in the last couple months. He started a new type of chemo called Keytruda which has fewer side effects for patients his age. They also decided to start radiation because it was growing so quickly.
The radiation has hit him hard, combined with his not being able to really eat since he was diagnosed, the doctors decided to operate and put in a feeding tube. He has really slowed down since then...
There are a few things around the house that need to be done quickly to make it safer for Dad...and Mom.
The back door needs a rail/handles to help him up the stairs. The front door, the porch has railing but is so old and wobbly it really serves no purpose.
He NEEDS a walk in shower with a bench in it. They only have a bathtub and it's almost impossible for him to get in and out since he has trouble lifting his legs and standing for very long.
These things would help make it so much safer for Dad during his treatment and recovery. Anything over the listed amount will go towards Dad's medical expenses.
