As many of you know, my daughter Abby is about to turn 15, and we are excited to celebrate this beautiful milestone in her life — her Quinceañera. In our Hispanic culture, the Quinceañera is not just a birthday celebration; it is a rite of passage, a coming-of-age moment that marks Abby’s transition from childhood to adulthood. This is a special tradition that holds great significance in our hearts, and it is a dream for every young girl to be surrounded by her loved ones as she takes this important step.

Unfortunately, as a single mother, the financial challenges of putting together such an event have become overwhelming. Between living coast and medical coast for one of her sisters I find myself struggling to cover the final costs of Abby’s Quinceañera. With the rising costs of everything and the pressure of making this moment unforgettable for my daughter, I am humbly turning to the community for support.
