HaPpY UpDaTe: even though we didn't reach the full goal amount of $250, the $160 raised was the right amount for making my friend's little girl's Christmas wish come true. Her mom was able to find a bike and helmet just after Thanksgiving and it has now been purchased!
THANK YOU, from the bottom of our hearts!! I'll be sharing photos here!

Hi, my name is Rhae Ann Theriault and I've created this GoFundMe in hopes of helping a little girl's Christmas wish come true this year. This is also the sincere hope of the girl's mother, who is too ashamed to ask for assistance.
I knew this young mother when she lived out here in Los Angeles. Her husband received a new job offer that took them to another state back East. Not only were she and her daughter uprooted from friends and her support system here, but within a year and a half, her husband surprised her with divorce papers. To add to the hardship, her father (who was her best friend) passed away unexpectedly. As you can imagine, she's been struggling to make ends meet while grieving a profound loss.
I know things are tough for everyone right now as we enter into the holiday season. But I'm hoping that, with your help, we can raise enough money so that this little girl can have a new bike with training wheels and a helmet.
It would mean so VERY much if you could contribute something... even if it's just the cost of a Starbucks. I promise to send photos of the bike once it's purchased, with receipts and maybe even some happy update photos!
