Hey! I’m Ed. I'm 29, and just over a year ago, I was fighting cancer.
At 28, I got the all-clear—and in that moment, everything changed. I sold everything I owned and bought a sailboat to chase the dream I’d held onto to sail around the world on my own boat and just live!
Ive worked in business for all of my 20's and chased what I thought was 'success' until I realised its nothing without your health.
I have no fixed route. No grand plan. Just a deep desire to live, to explore, and to share that adventure with others—to show that life is out there waiting.
Since setting sail, I’ve been documenting this journey not just for myself, but for anyone who’s ever thought, “One day.” I want to remind people that your “one day” can be today.
But dreams don’t always go smoothly and don't I know it !!
I’ve had more than a few setbacks along the way, from costly repairs to, most recently, losing both of my sails. It’s been a tough blow, and one that’s grounded me for a hot minute, but my goal of leaving on July 1st 2025 to the Med is still possible.
If you’ve followed my journey, if you’ve ever dreamed of sailing free, or if you simply believe in second chances—any support, big or small, means the world. It will go directly toward getting new sails, investing in the boat and continuing to share this story of hope, resilience, and optimism!
Even if you can’t donate, just following along and sharing this page helps massively. I'm so grateful for the community that has already grown around this dream—and I’d be honoured to have you onboard as I keep chasing it.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
