My younger sister has severe OCD and anxiety. Her condition is so extreme that she cannot function regularly on a day-to-day basis and is often unable to leave her room or even her bed for weeks at a time. She is also unable to be close to any people or animals. When she does leave her room, she spends most of her time washing and scrubbing her hands and arms. She is desperately in need of OCD treatment and cannot get the help she needs through insurance. Makaya is currently in California receiving treatment for anxiety but not OCD. We have found a place that can get her the help she needs, but she isn't able to get in the door without meeting her insurance deductible, which is several thousand, and then she will be charged every day out of pocket for treatment. We need to get her there as soon as possible, and any donations would help.
