Hello Everyone,

I am fundraising for my 36-year-old daughter-in-law Makareta (Lika) Uepa who was recently diagnosed with HER 2 Positive Inflammatory Breast Cancer. In addition to her recent diagnosis she also has kidney disease and her one functioning kidney is starting to fail. She is eventually looking at kidney dialysis and a kidney transplant.

Makareta (Lika) and her husband Chris have two beautiful girls ages 7yr & 11yr. Makareta is a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and all-around wonderful person. She is a stay-at-home mom and up until recently was providing much-needed daycare for family and friends to supplement the family income.

Makareta (Lika) has a long and costly treatment journey in the months to come. Your generous donations will alleviate some of the financial pressures they are experiencing.

The money raised will be used for the following expenses

Treatment not covered by insurance

Travel expenses to her cancer center

Loss of income due to her inability to do daycare

Medications
