I’m Makala, and I’m creating this fundraiser for myself and my household during a really hard time. My work hours dropped, and my paychecks became short. I kept paying what I could, but I’ve now fallen two months behind on rent while also taking care of my three kids. I have been doing my best to hold everything together, but it has become overwhelming trying to keep up with rent, bills, and the everyday needs of my children at the same time.

I’m asking for help so I can catch up on rent first and keep a roof over our heads. If there is anything left after that, it will go toward bills and my kids’ expenses. Any support helps.
