Hi, my name is Makaela Garcia, and I’m a junior at Rutgers University. I’ve been working hard to pursue my education, but right now, I’m facing serious financial challenges. I’m paying for college entirely on my own, and despite reaching out to my university and requesting additional financial aid, my appeal was denied. Unfortunately, I’ve also been denied for student loans multiple times, which has left me with very few options. My term bill this semester is far higher than I can afford, and without help, I may not be able to continue my studies.
