Help Majed Begin Urgent Cancer Treatment
Donation protected
Our uncle, Majed, is currently facing the toughest battle of his life—stage 4 bladder cancer. The last few weeks have been filled with many emotions. Now that the dust is settling, the reality of the situation is kicking in. Although he recently turned 65, Medicare approval is taking longer than expected, and he can't begin treatment until it's active. This blocker is making it difficult to start the urgent treatment he desperately needs. The waiting period is taking a toll on him, and we're worried about how fast things are progressing. His condition is worsening as the cancer continues to spread. The doctors have notified us that his kidneys are failing. He is also experiencing severe fluid buildup in his legs and stomach. However, despite all of this, once he begins treatment to fight the cancer, his doctors have reassured him that the treatment offers a real chance for success and that he can continue to live his life, but he must begin the treatment ASAP to make that possible.
With no wife or children, he's relying on our family (siblings, nieces, and nephews) for support. We've been taking turns being at his side, as he feels anxious when alone. He has been telling us and doctors with deep emotion that he wants to continue this fight, holding onto hope despite the circumstances. We're seeking funds to help cover his medical treatment, which includes a PET scan (approx. $6,000) and then immunotherapy (first treatment is approx. $34,000). If Medicare approves the treatment, then all of the donations will be given to Majed for housing and living expenses, and hopefully an at-home nurse for a couple of months.
If you are able, please consider making a donation. If you are unable to at this time, please share this GoFundMe with your friends and family. Another thing that would be helpful are prayers.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts,
