Help Majdi and his family restore hope - in Gaza

I am Magdi Abu Youssef, a resident of the Gaza Strip - Palestine. I grew up with a family of 11 people. Who does not know Gaza City, it is a large prison and a city of wars, and this is the sixth war in my life.

After I lost my job due to the war, where I was working as an administrative assistant, which was the only source of income for me and my family of 11 people, and now I am facing difficulty in providing for my family’s needs. I have no work nor any source of income throughout the war period (12 months). I lost everything I owned, and now we are without food or drink.

After nine months of the current war, which is still ongoing, he and my family were able to reach my apartment after we were forcibly displaced from it to the Rafah area in the south, and we did not know anything about it, due to the interruption of communications and the Internet throughout that period for the remaining residents of the north and the partial withdrawal of the Israeli army from My city.

When we saw the apartment burned and partially destroyed as a result of the shells and it became uninhabitable, our hearts burned. My family and I lost everything and I was about to marry him. We are concerned about rebuilding it. We worked hard day and night over many years to build this apartment, which we considered a lifetime apartment, and it still has unpaid installments. To avoid living in expensive rental apartments in our city, the available alternative now is very difficult, which is living in tents located next to it. The road has been paved for months in difficult living conditions.

We suffer from everything: safety, adequate housing, food, water, medicine, total darkness, sanitation, and all the necessities of life. We have been displaced more than five times due to the constant threat to our lives and the lack of a safe place in all of the Gaza Strip. A true genocide occurred upon us, and the whole world heard about it. It lasted 12 months, and we do not know when it will end. What we lived, witnessed, and suffered in this war will take many years to forget if we emerge from this war alive. In Gaza, entire families are exterminated and removed from the civil registry.

It was a difficult decision for my family to consider evacuating my brother Mahmoud, a family member, to travel to Egypt and leaving the rest to their fate due to the difficulty of securing the amount to remove all family members, which costs $6,000 per member to keep a family member alive.

I need urgent and urgent expenses, including daily expenses: buying food and water, buying a temporary shelter (tent) and cover, buying winter clothes, medicine, and other basic and necessary life necessities to help us survive.
