We are a group of concerned friends reaching out to you on behalf of Majd Al Ijleh, a young Gazan boy, and his family. We are raising funds to help him get the life-saving medical treatment he urgently needs.

Majd's Story

He was severely injured in a horrific Israeli airstrike that destroyed his home in Gaza. The strike martyred seven members of his family and caused multiple injuries to others. Miraculously, Majd survived, but his life has been changed forever.

After being rushed to the hospital, Majd spent 50 days in the ICU, fighting for his life. He was eventually released, not because he had fully recovered, but because Gaza's overwhelmed healthcare system could no longer help him. Majd now suffers from partial paralysis, has lost 40% of his skull bone, and is unable to move his right arm. Without advanced medical care, his condition will only worsen.

Why We Need Your Help

Majd requires multiple surgeries and specialized medical treatment that is simply not available in Gaza. Due to the relentless bombardment and blockade, Gaza’s healthcare system has collapsed, leaving patients like Majd with no access to the care they desperately need. To survive, Majd must be treated abroad. However, his family, already devastated by tragedy, cannot afford the costs of the medical care, travel, and rehabilitation.

Majd is not the only member of his family to have suffered during the ongoing Israeli bombardment. His father was shot in cold blood by Israeli soldiers and martyred. His younger brother, Karam, was also seriously injured, with shrapnel still embedded in his body. In 2014, another brother, Mujahid, was left with permanent facial nerve paralysis after being injured in an earlier Israeli attack. Majd's family has been shattered by war, and now they live in a small tent with no resources to survive.
