Help Majd’s Family Find Safe Shelter in Gaza
Donation protected

Hello everyone, I am Majd from Gaza, I am 25 years old. A year ago I was like any other person, with a job, school, my family, and a good home. I was studying law and had a bright future. Now, our home has been destroyed and we have had to leave everything behind and fled to the south in order to protect our family. Below is all that is left of what was our home.

These were all people’s homes, hardworking despite our struggles, but all of it is lost. We gather what we can to recycle, but almost nothing is useable.

as you can see by the damage above we found ourselves thrown in the street without any shelter, clothes or even food, our makeshift shelters were then attacked again by the drones. So again we suffered the hardships and displacement, time after time from Rafah to Khan Younis to Mawasi Khan Younis to East Deir al-Balah to Nusairat, to find ourselves without a breadwinner. In order to help everyone, we gathered together and established a small camp that includes my family and some others, many young children who were displaced or orphaned with us.

The poor mothers have suffered the most severe harm, most have lost some of their children, or their husbands. I ask you friends, what is the fault of the children? What is the fault of us young people? As we have orphans without a breadwinner, I decided to be the breadwinner and try to be responsible for the camp with some other young people to preserve our lives and support those around us.

We are working hard to create this link so that we can get some donations because we could not provide enough water and food for the camp, the camp is neglected and far from aid organizations so no one is able to get to us often. The blockades are brutal and some areas like ours are completely cut off. The only aid we get is through donations sent to my electronic account, and when I am able to charge my phone I can buy things for the camp by wiring money to the vendors here selling food and supplies, but only those who will accept electronic payments. Because of the scarcity and lack of supplies getting in and the fact that aid organizations cannot reach us here with the free aid, the costs are very steep. I beg you to stand with us and help us, if not for me, then at least for the sake of the children and mothers, they do not deserve this. We love life. We love our family and our community, we want to live, we want the children to be safe again. This is my message and the camp's message to you ♥️
