Pop Warner International Youth Super Bowl

This girl, a third of my heart (must leave room for her siblings!), has been invited to represent Team Canada International in the Pop Warner Youth International Superbowl!  The Superbowl is being held in Orlando, FL at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Walt Disney World Resort!!  First and foremost, the pride that I feel for her accomplishment is overwhelming.  Not only is my girl playing a predominantly male sport, but she is the ONLY female who made the team and representing her country this year.  She is driven and dedicated to her passion.  Countless times after school, she will don on athletic wear and set up a ladder and pylons on my front lawn where she will train until she is completely out of breath.  She is never out there for less than 40 mins.  She does this all year round ... even in the muck and cold of winter.  That is the dedication that she has for the game.  Neighbours have come by to extend their admiration at her drive and ambition. This girl is simply amazing and we are hoping that with your help, we can make this happen as it may be a once in a lifetime opportunity for her.  Her teammates from her home team, the Oshawa Hawkeyes, have sprouted in height and strength and are starting to overpower her.  Will this be the end of her football career?  Who knows?  She will tell you that there is no way in Hell that she is done! Her plan is to play ball in high school next year and I hope and pray that she can sustain her dream and continue on.  Fingers crossed, this opportunity to play in the  Youth International Superbowl this year is not a one-off.  But just in case it is, we want her to have this dream become a reality. Her Dad and I have recently split, and her world that she knew has been shattered.  The only thing that keeps her grounded is her love of football.  She has been in love with the sport since watching her brother play for the past 5 years and we supported her as she started playing 2 years ago.  This girl, my girl, is simply amazing and I want to be able to give this to her without impacting her siblings.   This opportunity takes place in December, two weeks before Christmas.  With my recent change in household income, Christmas is going to be tiny.  And with this opportunity in Disney for my girl, it pretty much shatters Christmas for all three kids.   Any help, big or small will help my girl realize a dream ... to represent her country while playing football.  Please help us help her realize this dream.   Thank you for taking the time to read this.  Thank you for considering her dream for a donation.  And if you are in any way able to help ... thank you ... from the very core of my being ... thank you!  xo Mad Youth Sports - Team Canada International  ~~ The only girl on the team ... and they WON!!!
