Help Maize Restoration after devastating fire
Donation protected
On Monday, July 22nd, one hour into the morning, an 8 alarm fire broke out in Downtown Natick, Massachusetts. Eight businesses in total had to shut their doors (or what was left of them). Of those affected was a local remodeling company, Maize Restoration. For those of you who are familiar with the construction industry, Chase Piedra (Owner and Founder of Maize Restoration) never even considered the thought of letting this stop him. They are proud to say that they are not going to let this horrible situation stop them from servicing their clients and their community. However, naturally things have gotten even more difficult than the daily grind associated with the industry. Unfortunately, tools and equipment stored in the basement, special design computers, TV’s and other electronics, and all their office furniture and supplies were all destroyed from the intense heat, smoke and water. The damaged property cost them over $80,000. And in most unfortunate circumstances, insurance is not covering any of this. Maize Restoration is an established and strong growing company, and this short setback will not stop them from reaching their goals and providing the services that have put them in the place that they are. Maize Restoration employs 15 individuals and numerous sub contractors who count on the organization to support them and their families. Maize is a family owned and operated business. The management team; Chase, Bryan Schulman (brother), Scott Sardina, and Fransisco Turcios all go back to their high school days where they went JP Keefe Tech in Framingham and took the carpentry course together. This campaign is to raise funds to relocate their office and replace tools and equipment, special design computers, TV’s and other electronics, and all their office furniture. Please help establish the new home of Maize Restoration.
