As many of you know, I’m on the home stretch of my journey to becoming a doctor. I’m working hard through my post-bacc program, and many people know of my tenacity and commitment to being on this road. I’m so grateful for all the encouragement I’ve received from friends and family. It’s been a challenging road, and right now, I’m not working, which makes it even more difficult to keep up with my education and living expenses.

The funds from this fundraiser will go directly toward my rent, books, transportation, tuition, and school supplies—essentials that will help me stay on track and continue my studies. I’m committed to giving back to my community as a physician, and your support will help me continue that mission. By helping me, you’re not only contributing to my journey, but also helping me continue to be a role model for future physicians who want to dedicate their lives to service through medicine.

I want to take a moment to acknowledge that I couldn’t do any of this without God’s guidance and the unwavering support of my family, friends, and mentors. Como muchos de ustedes saben, estoy en la recta final de mi camino para convertirme en doctora. Estoy trabajando arduamente en mi programa post-bachillerato, y muchas personas conocen mi tenacidad y compromiso con este sueño. Estoy muy agradecida por todo el apoyo y ánimo que he recibido de mi familia y mis amigos. Ha sido un camino desafiante, y en este momento, enfrento algunas dificultades financieras que hacen difícil mantenerme al día con mis estudios y gastos de vida.

Los fondos de esta recaudación se destinarán directamente a mi renta, libros, transporte, matrícula y materiales escolares: cosas esenciales que me ayudarán a seguir adelante y continuar mis estudios. Estoy comprometida a regresar a mi comunidad como médica, y su apoyo me ayudará a continuar con esa misión.
