Maisy is my 11-month-old cat and truly my best friend. I adopted her when she was just a baby, and every day since, she’s brought so much joy and comfort into my life. Waking up with her by my side and falling asleep next to her has become a source of happiness and peace for me. Maisy has the silliest personality, and I’ve always felt like we were meant to find each other.

Recently, Maisy swallowed about five feet of yarn, which caused a severe blockage in her intestines. She needed emergency surgery, and while the operation went well, she still hasn’t been able to eat for several days. The doctors are concerned and now need to run an ultrasound to see if there is a further issue, potentially with her pancreas. Watching her go through this has been heartbreaking, and the hospital bills are piling up as they work to help her recover.

Covering Maisy’s medical expenses has put me under serious financial strain, using up all my savings and making it hard to focus on what’s best for her. I’m scared to lose her, but I’m doing everything I can to give her a chance at a full recovery. If Maisy comes home healthy, I’ll be incredibly grateful.
