Thanks for taking the time to read Maisie’s story :)

Maisie is a two year old Saint Bernard, and belongs to my sister Michelle and her husband Joe. They have been spent countless hours at the vet and emergency vet trying to find answers for ongoing, chronic health issues. After a lot of diagnostic testing done at NC State, we finally got some answers.

Maisie has an intrahepatic liver shunt, a condition she was born with. Toxins are bypassing the liver, and are circulating throughout her body. Because she was born with it, pet insurance does not cover it and the cost of the surgery is around $10,000. Yikes!

She’s just the sweetest gal, and had a tough first couple of years. We don’t like asking for help, and my sister isn’t on social media, but I wanted to create this GoFundMe to help out in any way that I could. So if you could please share, or help
