Maisara is a 22-year-old refugee in Gaza who has become the head of his family after the loss of his father in 2023. He now cares for his mother, Eman Zaki Abed Taleb, his older brother Mohammed, his younger brother Adnan, and his youngest sister Tala. The family has endured unimaginable hardship, including being displaced more than a dozen times and now living in a fragile tent that offers little protection from the elements.

I met Maisara through Instagram while following the crisis in Gaza. His determination and resourcefulness stood out to me, especially as he works tirelessly to provide for his family. Despite the widespread famine and severe shortages, Maisara often goes without food so his siblings can eat. The cost of basic necessities like fruit is extremely high, and the family struggles daily to secure enough to eat. His mother faces ongoing medical issues, and access to care is nearly impossible under current conditions.

Our goal is to raise funds to help Maisara and his family survive these dire circumstances and, when possible, evacuate to Egypt. There, Maisara hopes to continue his education in Physical Therapy and give his family a chance at a peaceful life. Every donation will help provide food, medical care, and the hope of a safer future for this resilient family.
