Hi, my name is Essi Lapatto and i'm from Finland. I have became friends with one lady, called Maysa, in Gaza who is a mother of three kids. We have been in contact through Instagram. This mother is struggling to pay monthly rent for their room in a destroyed building but she tries her hardest not to be thrown into the streets, living in a tent with her kids. Also food and warm clothes are her everyday concerns. I'm a mom of three myself so i feel her pain and worries about her kids. The funds will be used to pay her rent, food and clothing. This her letter to you:

I'm Maysaa from Gaza… a mother of three: Khalil (6 years old), Raseel (5 years old), and Farouk (9 months old). I never imagined I'd be writing my story while searching for someone to help my children survive. Our home is gone, and my children have grown up suddenly amidst fear, hunger, and cold. Every day, Khalil asks me, "Mama… when will we go back home?" Raseel searches through the rubble for some of her old toys. My little Farouk doesn't understand what's happening… but he cries from hunger and cold. I'm a mother, and all I want is to provide my children with a safe place to live, food to feed them, and clothes to protect them from the cold. My story isn't easy to tell, but it's easier than seeing my children suffer every day. Any donation, no matter how small, could change my children's lives and save them from this harsh reality. From a broken mother's heart… please don't leave us alone. Please help my children if you can.
