I am a 52-year-old disabled woman. After a stroke on Jan 2026, I’ve been unable to work and now face car repossession. I need it for medical appointments (occupational, physical, speech therapies, cardiologist, neurologist, ophthalmologist, etc) and daily essentials like groceries and going to the pharmacy. I’ve applied for SSI (including presumptive disability) with little progress, and due to multiple disabilities and partial blindness, I currently cannot work (doctor's orders). I’ve tried contacting TitleMax directly including their corporate customer service line to work out a hardship option but haven’t been able to resolve anything unless I have cash in hand. Bill attached for transparency, any help or shares are truly appreciated. Thank you!
Note: The loan defaulted in February and the site hasn’t updated since entering repossession status. The date/time shown in the screenshot reflects when I accessed the account to take a screenshot.
Update 5/11/26: I received a text that they moved my account to collections. The amount owed is the full balance of $4169.07 now
