My father has been in and out of the hospital for over a year. I live in SC and he's in NY. Between traveling, working, and managing bills, it's been tough. We try and manage things and keep a smile up for our 3-year-old, but we have exhausted our savings.

I finally had the hardest call today stating there is nothing more that can be done. He's now going on Palliative Care, being moved from ICU to a regular floor, and will be made comfortable. I was up the week before Easter and really want to be by his side in his final hours, but with finances and our 3-year-old, that is not affordable at this time. Along with rent, utilities, car payments & insurance, and daycare.
