Help MaiLee with her funeral memorial

Donation protected
Hello everyone, my name is Agean Ser Yang. Many of my family and friends may have heard of my sister's (Mailee Yang, 39 years old) condition. However, I would like to take this opportunity to share my family's unfortunate hardship with everyone.

On October 20th, my sister, Mailee, had a seizure-like episode and rushed in an ambulance to St. Francis hospital. After several MRI/CT Scans and medical procedures, the doctors later informed us that she had an aneurysm in her brain. The aneurysm is a spontaneous bleed in her brain and was believed to have caused by the increase of her blood pressure. The doctors informed us that unfortunately the area of the bleeding is in one of the worst possible location, which is at the center and adjacent to the brainstem. This area is very deep, which prevents doctors from performing any surgical procedures to suction out any of the bleeding in the brain. The space is very narrow and any surgery may cause more damage to the brain, which can include stroke and other complications.

My sister was later transferred to Ascension Columbia St. Mary hospital and placed in the neurology department for patients with neurological disorders. The very next day, Mailee was tested positive for COVID-19 and no visitors was allowed to visit her at the Neuro ICU center.

As of right now, Mailee has been in the Neuro ICU for over two weeks. Her status is still in critical conditions, which we were informed that her chance of survival is very slim. Mailee has little to no response when touching her hands and feet or whenever her arm is involuntary withdrawing from needles. Mailee is currently on life support and her health is not improving. She is still fighting for her life every single day. If Mailee do make it out of her coma, she will need long term care.

Mailee recently started a new job and have only been working for three weeks. She does not have life and health insurance yet.

Everyone has personal hardships but any contribution of any sort would be appreciated if you choose to do so. Any blessings, thoughts, prayers, and good vibes would be appreciated as well. All contributions will go towards Mailee’s medical expense or preneed plans.

Lastly, I ask that everyone who come across this post to please help share our beloved sister’s story. Keep Mailee in your thoughts and pray for a miracle to happen. My family thank you for your contribution and time. May God bless each and everyone of you always.
